Hello, my name is Nelson Pinto. I was born in New York-Manhattan, but almost my life i lived in Europe, in this moment i'm in Portugal.

I trained different martial arts and i'm always travelling and living in other countries to study with other masters. In Special i was living for one year in San Francisco and other year in Huntigton Beach-Los Angeles, than going to France, Spain,Germany, Poland, etc...I have experience in several martial arts: Modern Farang Mu Sul & FMS-CQC(close quarter combat),KickBoxing, Thai Boxing, Full Contact, Boxe,Taekwondo ITF & WTF, Aikido, Hapkido, Karaté-Shotokan and Haidong-Gum Do (Corean Sword)

What is Modern Farang Mu Sul?

THe Art of the Farangs(Corean Knights) and Sulsas (Corean Ninjas).

This philosophy is placed into action by both taking an honest evaluation of the martial arts, in regards to what is functional in and pertinent to today’s world and by honestly, freely expressing ourselves in the sense of being a True Warrior and all that this entails. This philosophy can and must co-exist within the framework of gritty "Traditional Principles" and Modern Training as well as Progressive Thinking. Without loosing sight of where we came from, we owe it to ourselves as well as our predecessors to move forward to the NEXT LEVEL. With over 40yr. of experience in the martial arts, Grand Master Michael De Alba has used his study of numerous systems to create his own expression of a comprehensive and combat effective art. Drawing from his personal trainings of the already vast knowledge contained in the Korean martial arts of the Farang (aka: Farang Do, Farang Kwan, Hwarang Do, Farang/Tae Kwon Do, Hwarang/Hapki Do,Sun Mu Do, Do HapSul etc.) as foundation, Grand Master De Alba has not limited this art to only one version of "the truth". De Alba combines the valuable techniques and traditions of classical "Farang" with effective training methods, techniques and influences from other sources into the De Alba System of Modern Farang Mu Sul®. The De Alba system integrates the key elements of Kickboxing, Trapping, Grappling, Joint Locks, Pressure Points, Weapons and much more into an easy to learn, functional program, making Modern FMS® indeed one of the most versatile, comprehensive, progressive, effective and multi-faceted arts in existence today.
